The Judel/Vrolijk design won the title of "European Yacht of the Year" and was widely recognised. The new ship also comes from the Bremerhaven design office and is intended to be more than just a further development. It has a waterline that is around 60 centimetres longer and is wider, especially at the stern. The latter measure creates a larger cockpit and more space below deck.

The Hanse 415 is available as a two- or three-cabin model. One or two heads compartments can also be installed and the kitchen can be customised. Further features: Double wheel, large tailgate as a bathing platform and a comfortable companionway.

The Hanse 415 can be equipped with the shipyard's own SMS manoeuvring system, which coordinates the functions of the drive and bow and stern thrusters centrally with a joystick (see also YACHT 1/2012). The boat is expected to cost around 150,000 euros (including German VAT) and is already making its world debut at boot Düsseldorf.
